GIGATONS Welcomes Simon Crowfoot as Chief Commercial Officer  

A Catalyst for Capital and Climate Action 

Simon is responsible for the global commercial and partner relationships for GIGATONS and GRIDSERVE Global. With extensive commercial experience, he started his career in commercial roles with the likes of Tesco and DSG international.  Simon was instrumental in an early speech AI venture now owned by Microsoft before joining the board of Ecotricity – the world’s first renewable energy utility.  

Simon’s credentials are particularly well aligned with GIGATON’s as he created the UK’s first national EV charging network, in addition to pioneering new businesses in telco, wind energy, and spearheaded the world’s first diamonds made from carbon removed from the atmosphere!

At GIGATONS, Simon will oversee the commercial strategy of GIGATONS and GRIDSERVE Global focusing on defining and implementing contemporary commercial initiatives and business development to deliver exponential impact in the fight against climate change. Simon’s expertise in structuring commercial agreements and cultivating partnerships along with his extensive environmental experience will be pivotal in ensuring GIGATONS can grow to unprecedented levels.
